A short-stay guest needs to open luggage, charge devices, hang a few garments and find everything again at departure. Deep residential wardrobes are often the wrong answer.

Rehearse arrival and repacking

Place a full-size suitcase on the intended surface and open it without blocking circulation. Connect luggage movement back to the hotel lobby route and the service logic in back-of-house planning.

Keep frequent objects visible

Provide obvious positions for chargers, outerwear, shoes and small valuables. Internal shelves should be tested through the joinery mock-up, not assumed from an elevation.

Plan maintenance

Housekeeping needs reach and clear surfaces. Choose finishes by cleaning and repair behaviour, and preserve hardware and care instructions in the handover manual.
